CV Inter-Islands is creating new ferry connections from Praia to Maio Island and then onto Sal and Boavista, connected the major tourist islands of Barlavento. The connections with the other islands will serve as new opportunities for Maio. The island will be opened up to direct travel from Sal and Boavista, not just Santiago Island. This will generate business opportunities, investments capable of giving a new impetus to development. Thanks to commitment to business activities at municipal level, more tourists will be coming to Ilha do Maio!
